This Privacy Policy explains how 5 Star Card Shop LLC ("SnipeWins," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the SnipeWins website and dashboard (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide:

• Account information — your email address, and a password if you create one. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile information from Google.
• Marketing preferences — whether you opted in to daily eBay briefings and product alerts.
• Snipe activity you record — cards you add to your watchlist or journal, and whether you mark a card as won or lost. This is data you enter; we do not access your eBay account.
• Payment information — when you subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full card number; Stripe handles and stores your payment details under its own privacy policy.

Information collected automatically:

• Basic usage and device information (such as pages viewed and approximate session activity) needed to operate and secure the Service.
• A session token stored in your browser URL/session to keep you signed in.

We do not take possession of your eBay credentials, and we do not place bids, move money, or transact on your behalf.

2. How We Use Information

• To create and operate your account and the 10-minute trial
• To compute and display market values, target bids, and recommendations
• To process subscriptions and billing through Stripe
• To send transactional email (verification, password reset, receipts, security notices)
• To send product email (daily briefings, alerts) only if you opted in
• To maintain, secure, debug, and improve the Service
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Service, and only as needed:

• Stripe, Inc. — payment processing and subscription management
• Resend — sending transactional and product email
• Google LLC — optional sign-in (OAuth)
• eBay Inc. — we query eBay's public Browse API to gather sold-listing data; we do not send eBay your personal information
• Hosting and infrastructure providers that run the Service

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition).

4. Email Choices

Transactional emails are required to operate your account and cannot be turned off without closing your account. Product/marketing emails are optional — you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any such email or by adjusting your account settings.

5. Data Retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing hello@snipewins.com. Some information may be retained as required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including password hashing and encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@snipewins.com. We will respond as required by applicable law.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by email or a notice within the Service.
